Friday the 13th Part V is about 17-year-old Tommy Jarvis who has been admitted to various mental institutions. Tommy Jarvis is now been placed in the Pinehurst halfway house run by Dr. Matt Letter, which operates on an honor system. Tommy shares his room with Reggie, whose grandfather, George, cooks at the house. Two neighbors of the farm, Ethel and her son Junior, complain about the disturbance of two of the teens having sex near her farm. Later, the neighbor makes use of Jason and causes havoc at a halfway house for troubled teens.
